Hello, world — the site is rebuilt

Welcome to the new markhovs.com.

I rebuilt this site from the ground up on a modern stack (Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS), statically exported and deployed to GitHub Pages. The old version had drifted years behind, so it was time for a fresh foundation.

This is the first post on the new setup, mostly here to get the writing section going. I plan to use this space for notes on software engineering, data science, machine learning, and the occasional hobby project.
